VanHeukelom, Anna nee’ Peelen Mother 1874 – 1920 buried in Memory Gardens, Sioux Center IA.

Note: From a report on ancestry.com (by others) Anna Maria Peelen was born November 12, 1874 in the Netherlands to Jacob Peelne and Metje Alofs, she married Teunis Van Heukelom on 1894. She died August 9, 1919 in Sioux Center IA and is buried there.

Her headstone only says Mother 1874-1920 and is near the Peelens.

Translation:
Mrs. Van Heukelom died on Monday after long suffering at the age of 45 years. The funeral took place at the end of the day under the direction of Ds. Haverkamp. Our sympathy is with the survivors.

Obituary – on Monday afternoon Aug 9th it was the Lord’s will to take away from us our beloved mother. Mrs. A. Van Heukelom Peelen at 45 years of age. Our loss is indeed great but very much lightened by the satisfaction of knowing the her salvation was assured. Her trust was in the Lord and she felt prepared to go to her heavenly home.
