Mrs. Dave Heinsma (nee Cornelia Bakker) passed away Tues. morning in Sioux Center at the age of 89 years. In 1914 in the Netherlands, she was united in marriage to Luitzen Piersma who preceded her in death in 1925. On August 22, 1934, in Rock Rapids, she was united in marriage to Dave Heinsma, who preceded her in death in 1966. She is survived by the following children;
August Piersma of Inwood; Sue, Mrs. Jerry Chandler of Lakewood, Ca; Donna, Mrs. Marvin Boone of Sioux Center; and Ronald Heinsma of Hayward, CA. and two step children; August Heinsma of Rock Rapids and Mrs. Dorothy McCullah of Long Beach, CA.. She is also survived by one brother, Dick Bakker of Inwood, Iowa, 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, one great great grandson, 16 step grandchildren; and 35 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children; Annie Hop, Winnie Reddick, and an infant daughter; two ttep children; Dewey Heinsma and Magdaline Vermeulen; three brothers and two sisters. He passing is mourned by her friends and relatives.
