Young Granville Girl Passes On
Lois, Second Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Bussanmus

Miss Lois, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bussanmus, passed away at the Meyers hospital at Sheldon Friday morning, Dec. 29 at 8:40 o’clock, death being due to complications of diabetes.

Lois Bussanmus was born August 20, 1916, at Sheldon. Prior to her death she attended the Archer high school, being a member of the junior class.

She is survived by her parents, one sister, Opal, two brothers, Herbert and Earl, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bussanmus and her grandmother, Mrs. Emma Smith. of Sioux City. Funeral services were held at the home in Baker Township and interment took place at East Lawn cemetery at Sheldon. Pallbearers were Roy and Harry Kaiser, Bobby Porter, Burdell Leemkull, Merril Davis and John Van der Pol.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral were her grandmother, Mrs. Emma Smith of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bussanmus and children Minnie and Harry, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bussanmus, of Granville; Laurence Bussanmus of Mitchell, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Will Steffern of Wilmont, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. John Thorman, Mr. and Mrs. Max Thorman, Mr. and Mrs. Nic Schwebach and other friends from a distance.

Her death certificate has her as Lois Francis Bussanmas and adds her parents, Frank Bussanmas, born at Granville, Iowa, and Mary Smith, born in Baker Township, Iowa; died at 8:30 a.m. December 29, 1933 at Sheldon, where she had been a resident for 6 days; cause, acute ulcerative endo-carditis, date of onset 1 week.
