Alton Young Woman Passes
Miss Elizabeth Plagge, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Plagge of Alton vicinity passed away on Tuesday, Sep 2nd between eight and nine o’clock in the evening after a long illness which had confined her to her bed for five or six weeks previous to her death.

She was born in Granville July 9, 1889 and came with her parents to the farm east of Alton when she was about eight years old, so that she was brought in the vicinity, attended St. Mary’s Academy and was a devoted member of St. Mary’s church.

Many friends mourn her passing and sympathize deeply with her parents, sisters and brothers, of who three brothers and three sisters are living, Joe of Dell Rapids, Rudolph and Fred of Alton, Mrs. Joe Baume, France and Mary

Funeral is at St. Mary’s church this Friday morning at 9 o’clock. A number from out of town are expected for the services. Some were listed.
