Death Claims Mrs. G. W. Pitts Mrs. G. W. Pitts of Alton passed away last Thursday at the advanced age of 81 years. Mrs. Pitts was married in 1880 and in 1882 she and her husband came to Sioux county. Funeral services were held at Alton Sunday.

She is survived by her husband and five children, Judge C. W. Pitts and Miss Elizabeth Pitts of Alton; Gideon S. Pitts and Mrs. L. A. Foote of Helena, Mont., and Mrs. A. & Larimer of Portland, Ore., and twelve gran-children.
