KILLED IN EARLY MORNING WRECK

William Tripp, 53, of South Sioux City was killed and William Hutton, Jr. 42, of Craig, was injured when their truck left the road and crashed in a ditch five miles southwest of Le Mars early Sunday.

Hutton was driving the tuck and he was taken to Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars where he was treated for injuries and released.

Funeral services for Tripp were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 12, at the Mauer Funeral Home in Le Mars. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Reading Township near Ireton.

Survivors include his father, Edward Tripp of Allegan, Michigan; three brothers, Carl and Richard, both of Allegan and Francis of Byron Center, Michigan; and three sisters, Mrs. Darrell Williams of Franklin, Minnesota, Mrs. Martha Spaulding of Ferguson, Missouri, and Mrs. Fred Ricklefs of Ireton.

Never married or had children.
