Graveside services were held Sunday afternoon in Pleasant Hill Cemetery for Mrs. Joseph Thomas of Sioux City, mother of Clifford Thomas of Sioux City and a sister of Melvin Tarrell of Orange City and an aunt of the Houlton families.

Note: Nellie Tarrell was born on March 20, 1883 to Samuel and Martha (Willey) Tarrell. Nellie married Joseph Thomas on October 12, 1904. They had three children, Clifford, Earl and Wesley. Her husband, Joseph Thomas died in 1944. On July 15, 1965 Nellie Thomas passed away.
