Graveside services were held here Thursday afternoon at Pleasant Hill Cemetery for the late John Taylor, 84, of Le Mars who died Monday, October 8, following a long illness. An early day resident here Mr. Taylor and his sister Cora Taylor farmed southeast of here moving to Le Mars in 1950.

He was born October 11, 1871 to John J. and Lucinda (Livingston) Taylor, in Bellevue, Iowa and came to Sioux County in 1881.

Funeral services were held at the Mauer Funeral Home at Le Mars and the remains brought here for interment in the family plot. His sister Cora survives.
