Mrs. Lucinda L. Taylor died at her home at 1216 Washington Street on Thursday night, aged 80 years. Mrs. Taylor had been in failing health the past two years. She was a patient sufferer to the end, never complaining or murmuring. She was a good neighbor and loving mother.

Mrs. Lucinda L. Livingston was born in the state of Pennsylvania in the year 1838. She came to Jackson County, Iowa in 1855 and was united in marriage to John J. Taylor January 1, 1871.

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor settled in Sioux County in 1882 on a farm near Maurice, where they lived for many years. Mr. Taylor died in the year 1899. The deceased came to Le Mars about three years ago to make her home.
