Mrs. Jake Tammenga passed away Friday at her home here after many years of suffering with consumption. Tracy Tammenga was but twenty-six years of age.

Aside from her husband she leaves no family to mourn her absence, the baby having died last summer. The funeral was held Monday from the First Reformed Church.

Note: Tracy is the daughter of Jelte and Betje (Engelmorr) De Groot. Tracy married Jake Dirk Tammenga on February 13, 1912 in Hospers, Iowa. Tracy and Jake are the parents of one son,Dirk, who died in 1913.
