Frank Synhorst, 53, of Hot Springs, South Dakota died February 6 at 11 p. m. in the Veteran's Hospital at Des Moines. Death was due to hypernephoma of the right kidney.
Mr. Synhorst was a former Orange City boy and his mother Mrs. John Synhorst and a sister, Miss Jennie live here.
Other survivors include his wife, Gertrude, a sister, Kate, Mrs. John Van Pelt of California and a brother Hugo, of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly Sioux County Sheriff.
Frank Synhorst was a veteran of World War No. 1 and had been in ill health for years.
Funeral services were held in the American Reformed Church Wednesday at 1:30. Reverend Mr. A Colenbrander was in charge.
The body was brought from Des Moines by the Van Etten ambulance.
