Mrs. Walter Swets, nee Hester Lagaster passed away Thursday evening, June 27, at the Sheldon hospital where she had been in a coma since Monday.

Mrs. Swets was born February 22, 1891 in South Holland, Illinois, where she resided until her marriage in 1913. They moved to a farm northwest of Hospers. To this union were born, one daughter, Elizabeth, Mrs. Ted Ruisch of Ontario, California, and 2 sons Teunis of Denver and Walter Jr. at home, who survive her besides her husband.

She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. P. VerDuin and Mrs. J. Van Drunen and one brother, Peter Lagaster of South Holland, Illinois; and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the First Reformed Church, Reverend G. Docter officiating, interment at Orange City.
