Services held for Mrs. Jennie Stuart

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Stuart, nee Jannetje "Jennie" Van Klompenburg, were held Tuesday, January 31, at the First Reformed Church, Orange City, Iowa.

Mrs. Stuart, who had reached the age of 93 years and six months, was one of Orange City's oldest residents. She was born in the Netherlands in 1873 and came to Orange City when she was three years old.

She was married to Albert Stuart in 1901.

Mr. Stuart, who had been a jeweler in Orange City for 53 years, preceded in death in 1953.

Survivors are Dr. Albert J. Stuart of Los Angeles, California, Fred W. Stuart, of Sioux City, Iowa, and Mrs. Gale Hurd of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A son Herman died in 1959. She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
