Arie Struyk 70 of Boyden, Iowa, a winter visitor for the past three years in the Mission McAllen area, died Thursday night in McAllen General Hospital.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his widow Mrs. Jennie (Verhoef) Struyk, of Boyden Iowa; a son, Robert Struyk. Minneapolis, Minnesota, three brothers: Bert Struyk. Seattle, Washington, Peter Struyk, Cedar Falls, Iowa and John Struyk, Perry, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Juber, Melvin, Iowa, Mrs. Peter VanAalsburg, Sanborn, Iowa and Mrs. Richard Bogaard, Seattle, Washington and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Boyden, Iowa. Burial will be in the Boyden Cemetery.
