Aurelia Borst was born April 14, 1838 at Fulton in New York State. Immediately after her marriage to Mr. James Storey they moved to Illinois where they remained but three years--coming thence to Sioux County, Iowa and settling upon the homestead which is now the farm of A.A. Kuyper. Mrs. Storey had ever since made this county her home.

Her husband died September 1, 1886. Many years ago she professed her faith in Christ and united with the Methodist class in Boyden--later transferring her membership to Hull. At the time of her death she was visiting her daughter Ella in Jeffers, Minnesota. On last Saturday she was apparently in her usual health but was suddenly called away from this world to enter into her rest. Her death occurred about midnight of that day--Saturday August 4, 1906.

There remain of her immediate family to mourn her loss two sisters and one brother and also of her children the following, all of whom are here: Mesdames Rombough of Bates South Dakota, Arch Tuttle of Sioux City, Fred Jones of Jeffers, Minnesota and Fred Story of Rock Rapids and James Storey of Jeffers, Minnesota.
