Thomas Stokes of Le Mars, a survivor of the Mexican War, died last week in Le Mars, his home of forty years.

His birthplace was Dublin, Ireland, and he had reached the age of eighty-five.

He was laid to rest at Memorial Cemetery, Le Mars, Iowa.
