WILLIAM DRUYVESTEYN
Funeral services for William A. Druyvesteyn, 73, were held Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the American Reformed Church with Rev. A. Hook and Rev. A. Kleppinger officiating. Burial was made at West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten funeral Home. Mr. Druyvesteyn passed away at the Orange City Municipal Hospital on November 9, following lingering illness.Mr. William Druyvesteyn was bom April 2, 1896. near Alton. He was married to Christina Vanden Berge on Dec. 27, 1917, and they farmed until their retirement to Orange City on June 1, 1962. Mr. Druyvesteyn was a 1915 graduate of Northwestern Classical Academy, attended Hope College for three yean and was a veteran of World War 1.
Surviving are the widow; one son, Vem of Tucson. Arts., and three grandchildren. Alto surviving are a brother-in-law, Mr, Jim Schuller and a sister-in-law, Mrs. John Druyvesteyn of Sanborn. He was preceded In death by his parents, brothers and sisters
