Peter Droog, 86, of Sioux Center died Saturday in a hospital in Sioux Center., Services were at 9:30 a.m. in the. Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center. The Rev. Duane Tinkleberg officiated. Additional services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Hull Christian Reformed Church in Hull, N.D. The Rev. John Riemersma officiated. Burial was in the Hull Cemetery.

Mr. Droog was born July 23, 1897, at Thule, SD. He married Lena Hollaar May 17,1922, at Hull. They farmed in the Hull area until 1978 when they moved to Sioux Center.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Helen) Dykema of Everett; Wash., Mrs. Bernard (Jeanette) Van Beek of Springfield, Va., Mrs. Esther Van Boven of Sioux Center and Mrs. Melvin (Doris) Rodenburg of Sterling, N.D.; seven sisters, Mrs. Ann Haak of Linton, N.D., Mrs. Nell Groen and Janette Plagerman, both-of Lynden, Wash., Mrs. Freda Klinger of Bismarck, N.D., Mrs. Ada Dykema of Westfield, N.D., and Mrs. Henrietta Nieuwsma and Mrs. Bertha Nieuwsma, both of Hull, N.D.; two brothers, John G. of Sioux Center and Dalton of Orange City 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
