Mrs. Andrew Stopher passed away at her home in this city at 7:40 Monday evening following a lingering illness. She had been failing in health for two years during which times she had been a silent sufferer. She had been bedfast for the past several weeks and death came as a relief to her constant suffering.

Funeral services were held at the home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and at the Baptist Temple at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend J. E. Bruner., the pastor in charge. Interment was made in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Minnie Ella Everett was born at Ellsworth, Iowa, October 10, 1877 and passed away July 18, 1927 at the age of 49 years 8 months and 8 days. In young womanhood she moved to Hardin County, where she was engaged in the profession of teaching for a number of years. She was united in marriage with James Austin at Ruthven, Iowa, July 31 1899 to which union were born two daughters, Alma Daisy and Sylvia Ella. She came to Hawarden in 1905 and has made her home here continously since that time. She was united in marriage to Andrew Stopher in Hawarden December 22, 1910. She was a member of the local Baptist Church and of the Woodman Circle.

Besides her husband and two daughters, Miss Alma Daisy Austin and Miss Sylvia Ella Austin, she leaves to mourn her loss her father, Edward E. Everett of Retlaw, Alberta, Canada; two brothers E.F. Everett pf Vauxhall, Canada, and Robert Lee Everett of Portland, Oregon; and three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Johnson of Portland Oregon; Miss Frances McNett of Ruthven, Iowa: and Mrs. Emma Carpenter if Spencer, Iowa.

Mrs. Stopher was of a kindly nature, always willing to help someone in need and her home life was one of loving service for her family.
