MRS. N. C. DICKERSON PASSED AWAY TUESDAY EVENING
Was 64 Years of Age and Lived Here for 31 Years.—Survived by Four Sons and Two Daughters

Mrs. N. C. Dickerson passed away at 8:45 Tuesday evening at the Albert Wegner home, northeast of Hawarden, from uremic poisoning, following a siege of pneumonia. Mrs. Dickerson went to the Wegner home to care for Mrs. Rose Brunskill, who makes her home with her daughter, Mrs. Wegner, and was taken ill with pneumonia the same evening that she arrived. In order that she might be given the best chance to overcome her illness she was cared for in the Wegner home and it was thought that she was on the road to recovery when she was stricken with uremic poisoning.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon with Rev. Robt. H. Forrester, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge. Burial will be made in Grace Hill cemetery. Anyone wishing to view the remains may do so at the Ross Funeral Home between the hours of 10:00 a. m. and 12:00 p.m. Friday.

Nancy Catherine Sellers was born in Green county, Tenn., Nov. 26, 1866, and passed away May 26, 1931, at the age of 64 years and 6 months. She moved from Tennessee to Missouri when she was 4 years of age. On Jan. 20, 1888, she was united in marriage with D. M. Dickerson, who preceded her in death Dec. 25, 1907. This union was blessed with seven children, all of whom survive her except Maude, who passed away May 28, 1904, at the age of 8 years.

She came to Hawarden in 1900. She was a member of the Methodist church since 1893. During the past several years she did practical nursing and many homes of this vicinity have known her tender care during illness.

She is Survived by six children; Chas. E. of Sioux Falls, S. D.; Guy A. and Merle M. of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Irene Rhodes and Mrs. Fern Davidson of Dallas, Texas; and Fred E. of Santa Rosa, Calif. When she became ill her two daughters and one son, Charles, came and helped care for her and were with her at the time of her death.
