Henrietta E. "Toots" Steinborn, 71, of Sioux City died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Elise Neal of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hope Cemetery, Hill, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Toots was born November 2, 1939, in Perkins, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Gertrude (Korthals) Boone Jr. She graduated from Sioux Center (Iowa) High School in 1958.

She was married to Harvey C. Steinborn on July 24, 1959, in Sioux Center. She had lived in Sioux City since 1967, when she moved here from Sioux Center. She was employed as a receptionist for Nelson-Berger Funeral Service and Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.

Toots was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Morningside Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a past Matron.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Candy and Mark Burge of Lincoln, Nebraska; a brother, Ray Boone of Sioux City; a sister, Carol Hunt of Sioux City; and a nephew and his wife, Mitch and Lizz Boone of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four children, Candice Ann, Julie Renae, Keith Alan and Jody Marie; and a brother.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Lower, Ben Reicks and Mitch Boone.
