Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Sipma and W. J. Stronks are attending the funeral of Mr. Sipma's brother-in-law, John E. "Jan" Starkenburg this Thursday afternoon.

Mr. Starkenburg was 90 years old in February. In 1874 he was married to Aukje "Ollie" Sipma.

He is survived by a family of 8 sons and three daughters. Services are at the First Reformed Church, in charge of Reverend Monsma.
