Mr. G. (Jelle) Stapert passed away at his home Tuesday, December 8 at eight o'clock in the morning at the age of 73 years after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Stapert; a daughter Hattie, Mrs. Steve Siebersma of Sheldon and 3 step children, Jno. De Jong of Sanborn, Mrs. Aug. Egdorf, Archer; Jas. H. De Jong, Sanborn and 21 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 o'clock at the in house and 1:30 at the First Christian Reformed Church with the pastor Reverend R. Bronkema in charge. Interment will be made at West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, Sioux County, Iowa.

Note: Jelle Stapert was married in 1888 to Jennie Koopsma and she passed away in 1913. In the year 1914, he married Wilma Kroese.
