H.F. VanEngen's Father Died Last Tuesday Evening

Henry F. VanEngen was called to Orange City Tuesday evening by the death of his step father, Gerrit Stapert.

Mr. Stapert was sixty-five years old, had not been ill at all, and died very suddenly.

He leaves to mourn his lost, his wife, Jennie (Elders) Stapert and two stepsons, Herman VanEngen of Doon and Henry VanEngen of Hull and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Paul Wassenaar of Crookston, Minnesota.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Christian Reformed Church at Orange City, and burial will be made at Orange City.

Sincere sympathy is extended, by all to the bereaved family.

Note: Gerrit was married to Clara Pluimer and she passed away in 1916. In 1918 Gerrit married Jennie (Elders) Van Engen.
