BABY SON OF MR. AND MRS. HAROLD SPERRY SMOTHERS TO DEATH

Friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. William Beyer and family of this place were called on last Friday to mourn the death of their daughter Annetta’s baby son which died early that morning. The following is taken from last Saturday’s daily paper: “Lake Park, Iowa--Curtis Wayne Sperry, son born last Christmas day to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sperry of Lake Park, was found dead in bed beside his mother, early last Friday.

The child had bee taken into bed by the mother for feeding at 3 A.M. Corner B.W. Jones of Spirit Lake, said death was due to accidental smothering.

The funeral was held at 3:00 o’clock Monday afternoon, April 8th from the William Beyer home, south of Hull and interment was in Hope Cemetery here at Hull.
