Mc Nary, Myrtle died 5 Oct 1879 age 5 y 2m 20d. dau of J. & R. J. buried in Greenwood cemetery Matlock IA. No obit found in the papers for the time.

The 1880 census of Floyd, O’Brien IA lists John McNary 35 born about 1845 Indiana and wife Rebecca 31 born 1849, they had Cecil McNary 9 and Mary McNary 1.

Note: from a report on ancestry.com (by others) John Mc Nary born Oct 17, 1844 in Salem Indiana, married Rebecca Jane Gift 1869, they had five children. He died Feb 20, 1920 at Ruthven IA.
Rebecca Jane Gift was born Jan 6, 1849 Williamsport PA, She died 1923 at Ruthven IA. Children listed in this report were Cecil 1870-1943, Mary 1879, Frank 1883-1924, Eva Gift 1887 and Martina Frances born 1890.
