Mrs. Aloysius J. Schwarz, 59, of Granville, died October 8 at the Sheldon Hospital after a long illness. Services were October 10 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville. The Reverend Edward Hoffman officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery with the Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen in charge. The Rosary was recited October 9 in Spalding Hall at Granville.

Mrs. Schwarz, the former Helen Kobberman, was born July 8, 1915 at Remsen. She was married December 18, 1935 at Granville.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Bernard of Sheldon and Al Jr. of Hospers; seven grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Chester (Margaret) Bergner of Remsen, Mrs. Olivia Moritz of Sioux City and Mrs. Frank (Agnes) Schwarz of Granville.
