Funeral services held Wednesday for Fred F. Cleveringa

Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church here at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, for Fred F. Cleveringa, 70, retired farmer of Sioux Center, who died March 29.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Jack Boerigter and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.

Mr. Cleveringa was born August 30, 1900, the son of Fred and Neeltje (Hoff) Cleveringa.

He was married August 14, 1925, to Fanny Schutt in Sioux Center. Mr. Cleveringa had served both as deacon and elder of First Reformed Church.

Survivors include the widow, Fannie; four sons, Nelson, Tunis, Garold and John, all of Sioux Center; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Kraayenbrink and Mrs. Lee Erickson, both of Sioux Center, and Mrs. Tunis Vollink of Hull; 17 grandchildren; a brother, John, of Sioux Center.
