Mrs. Anna Masuen Dead
Alton Democrat: Mrs. Ann M. Masuen died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Renacle, on Monday, Nov 16th, of Old age. Deceased was born in Harlinger, Luxemburg, June 18th 1836. In 1881 she and her husband and children came to this country, locating on a farm near Le Mars, where they lived for a number of years. After the death of Mr. Masuen, the mother made her home with her daughter, Mrs. J. Remacle. Deceased is survived by six children: Mrs. P. (Emma) Engeldinger, of Alton; Mrs. E. Gloden, of Granville; Mrs. Math Gloden of Devils Lake ND. Mrs. Joe Remacle, of Hospers, Mike Mausen, of Granville and John Mausen of Clinton Iowa. Funeral services were held from St. Mary’s Church at Alton on Thursday.
