Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Schumacher, 82, of Granville were last Saturday in St. Joseph Church, Granville. The Reverend Nicholas J. Becker officiated.

Mrs. Schumacher, the former Anna Meyers, was born November 10, 1884 in Kaundorf, Luxembourg. She was married September 29, 1909 in Kaundorf to Joseph Schumacher. They came to the United States in 1909.

Survivors include seven sons: Nick, Martin, Jack and Herbert all of Sioux City, Ray of Minneapolis and Joseph and Ambrose both of Granville; Four daughters: Jeanette, Mrs. Earl Kiehl, Martha, Mrs. Emil Bader, and Clara, Mrs. Joe Harling, all of California and Susan, Mrs. Sylvester Meyerchin of Sioux City; 40 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters.

Mrs. Schumacher died last Friday in a Sioux City Hospital. She was buried in the parish cemetery in Granville, under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home. Rosary was recited in Spalding Hall, Granville, at 5 P.M., 8 P.M., and 9 P.M. Friday.
