Ralph A. Schuetz, 60, Alton, died Monday of a sudden heart attack. Services will be Thursday at 10:30 A.M. in Alton St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father David Hogan officiating.

Rosary and Prayer Service will be Wednesday evening in St. Mary’s Gym. Interment will be in Alton St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Mr. Schuetz was born August 10, 1921 in Granville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schuetz. He was married February 25, 1946 in Remsen to Rita Kass. He farmed in the Alton area for many years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church and a director of the Alton Development Corp.

Hr was survived by a wife, Rita, Alton; sons Lyle and Richard, both of Alton; his mother, Mrs. Albert Schuetz, Remsen; a brother, Francis Schuetz, Marcus and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene; his father, Albert Schuetz and a brother, Wayne.
