Died: October 16, 1972

Mabel Johanna Schuller died Monday, October 16 at the Municipal Hospital after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 10:00 A.M. at the Trinity Reformed Church with Reverend Donald Lenderink officiating. Pallbearers will be Henry, John H., Richard, John Schuller, Tom J. De Jong and Frank De Jong at West Lawn Cemetery.

She was born January 7, 1907 to James Schuller and the late Johanna Druyvesteyn Schuller. She is survived by her father in the Heritage Home; two sisters, Mrs. Nelson (Ada) De Jong and Mrs. Sydney (Viola) Vande Lune of Denver; three nieces, Mrs. Leonard Krommendyk, Orange City, Mrs. Stanley Frericks, Le Mars and Mrs. Glenn Richter, Corvallis, Oregon.

She graduated from Northwesters Classical Academy, 1924 and from Central College, Pella 1928 and spent 42 years in public service as teacher and librarian.

Memorial gifts will be given to the support of Robert Schuller's "Hour of Power" TV series.
