Funeral services were held at the Christian Reformed Church in Doon at 2 P.M. November 1, for Mrs. Henry Van Bemmel, 58, of Doon, who died October 29, at the Rock Rapids Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Donald E. Houseman of Rock Rapids and burial was made in Hillside Cemetery at Doon.

The former Jennie Schreuder was born at Rock Valley October 26, 193. She was married to Henry Van Bummel at Doon March 18, 1936.

Survivors include the widower, a son, Hurley of Doon; a sister, Mrs. Andrew Fiekema of Denver, Colorado.
