Mrs. Jantje Rons, mother of Will Rons living southwest of town, died last week, and was buried at Sioux Center. She was 71 years of age.

The aged Mrs. Jantje (Bakker) Rons, whose husband, Pieter Rons, died less than a year ago, September 1, 1915, passed away at the home of her son near Rock Valley at the age of 71 years.

The funeral took place here from the First Reformed Church, of which the deceased was a member for many years.
