Mr. and Mrs. James Koops became the parents of a daughter born to them on Wednesday afternoon at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Le Mars. The infant was premature and passed away on the following day. Funeral services were held at the local cemetery on Friday afternoon, with Rev. Peter H. De Jong officiating. The mother will be remembered as the former Joan Kuyper of Doon and this was their first child.
