Mrs. Kooreman Dies
Mrs. Tom Kooreman of Fenton MO. A former resident of Alton passed away on Feb 26 and services were conducted there. She is survived by three children: a son Edward and two daughters and two grand children and children, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Branham, and Edith and Miss Myrtle Kooreman, a graduate nurse of Chicago. A short service was conducted here on Monday morning and burial was in Nassau cemetery beside her husband.

Note: From a report on ancestry.com by others, She was Nellie Kooyman daughter of Jort Cornelius Kooyman and Elizabeth Bakker. She she was born 1872 and married Thomas Kooreman in 1896 They had three children, Edward, Edith and Myrtle.
