Mrs. Richard Rikkers passed away on Saturday, November 10, 1973 at the Sioux Center hospital after a lingering illness. She died at the age of 65 years.

She was the former Geraldine Koerselman, born at Hull, Iowa on May 10, I 908 and was united in marriage to Richard Rikkers on December 30, 1927. To this union one son was born: LeRoy Rikkers of Hull. Mrs. Richard Rikkers was a member of the American Reformed Church of Hull.

Mrs. Rikkers is survived by her husband, Richard; her son, LeRoy; and daughter-in-law, Dorothy; two grandsons, Richard and Darwin of Hull, Iowa; her father, Henry Koerselman of Hull, Iowa; one sister, Alida (Mrs. A. Caswell) of Hull, Iowa; six brothers, Gerrit of Mason City, Iowa, Arie of Sheldon, Iowa, Clarence of Fairmont, Minnesota, Willis and LuVerne, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Orville of Senora, California.

She leaves to mourn her death a large circle of relatives and friends.

The memorial service for Mrs. Richard Rikkers was held on Tuesday, November 13, 1973, at 1:30 p.m. at the American Reformed Church, Hull, Iowa, with Reverend Henry Vermeer of Hospers, Iowa officiating.

Music for the service was provided by Audry Van Voorst, who sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." The congregation sang "What a Friend we have in Jesus." Mrs. Gerrit J. Vander Schaaf was the organist. Casket bearers were Alvin Grevengoed, Anthony De Groot, Henry Beyer, Ed Vis, Henry C. Boeve and Donold Van Schepen. Interment was in the Hope Cemetery in Hull and the arrangements were by the Kraai Funeral Home.
