(Jacob) Glenn Rensink, eldest son of Henry and Mary (Van Houte) Rensink died March 22, at the Kennestone Hospital in Marrieta, Georgia of congestive heart failure.

Glenn was born November 19, 1915 near Boyden. He attended the Boyden Public School System, graduating fro high school in 1935.

He served in the army during WWII with time spent in Germany with the 104th Ordinance Company.

Upon returning from the service in 1945, he spent several years in the gravel business and in farming near Foreman, North Dakota. In 1964, he joined the staff of the Farmers Savings Bank in Boyden where he served as an officer until his retirement in 1979.

He married Thelma Austin Oelrich in July, 1953. She preceded him in death in May, 1978.

He married Edna Poole Lee in May, 1981, in Dallas, Georgia where they made their home until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Edna, and four sisters and brothers-in-law; George and Eleanore Van Diepen of Tacoma, Washington; Henry and Joan Boelsma of Boyden, Albert and Mary Jean Gates of Creston; and Louis and Doris De Boer of Melvin; and many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard, in 1937; his father in 1970; and his mother in 1977.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Marietta, Georgia where services were held on March 24. Interment was in Marietta, Georgia.
