Mrs. Sena Rensink, 96, of Rock Valley, formerly of Hospers, died Friday, January 27 at a nursing home in Rock Valley.

Services were held Tuesday at 10:30 at the First Reformed Church in Hospers, under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Hospers. The Reverend Garret Doctor officiated.

Mrs. Rensink was born March 2, 1892 in Sheldon, the daughter of Henry and Berdena (Holders) Jurink. She married Cornelius "Cornie" Rensink December 16, 1920 at Orange City. Mr. Rensink died October 22, 1973. Mrs. Rensink had been a resident in the nursing home in Rock Valley for the last 15 years.

Survivors include two sons, Gilbert and Henry, both of Hospers; a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Berdella) Heemstra of Granville; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Bosman of Sioux Center; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
