Funeral services in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for Nick Reuter who died at his home last Monday afternoon. Interment was made in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Mr. Nicholas Reuter was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Reuter and was born on February 24, 1888, and was 55 years and 5 days old at the time of his death. He was one of 14 children. On February 6, 1917, he was united in marriage to Miss Josephine Gloden at Granville. The young couple set up housekeeping on a farm near Granville where they resided until 5 years ago when they moved to town due to Mr. Reuter failing in health. Five children were born to this union. Adeline of Detroit, Michigan; Marion, Mrs. Joe Verschoor of Hospers; and Joseph and Marvin at home. One daughter Delores, passed away in 1934.

Besides the widow and four children he leaves to mourn four sisters: Sister Mary Seraphine of Marble Rock; Mrs. Joe Brandenburg of Sheldon; Mrs. Jake Diedrich if Milford, and Mrs. Marvin Gengler of Lismore, Minnesota, besides a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
