Mr. Peter Reuter who had been ailing for some time and who had passed the 93rd milestone, died in his home Saturday night, leaving three sons and five daughters to mourn his departure, besides hosts of other relatives and friends.

His wife, Mrs. Catharina (Ungs) Reuter departed some eleven years ago and so Mr. Reuter and his daughter, who is not married, continued to live in town, moving here from the farm 10 years ago.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from St. Anthony’s Church of which deceased was a devoted member, Father Moenissen officiating. Interment took place at the church yard.

The community extends the hand of sympathy to the bereaved.
