From the Rock Valley Bee, April 17, 1931:

Died While Visiting Daughter

Mrs. Rinalda, of Inwood, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening while on a visit here in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Peter Postma, living a mile and a half west of Rock Valley.

Mrs. Rinalda had not been feeling as well as usual that day but was up and around all day. While Mr. and Mrs. Postma were outside doing some work around the house, Mrs. Rinalda was stricken. When they came into the house they found her in a chair, and sent for the doctor, but she was dead when he arrived. Mrs. Postma has the sympathy of a number of friends in her bereavement.

Her death certificate has Mrs. Anna Reinalda, widowed; born April 27, 1862 in Holland; parents Pier De Vries and Witek[?] Koopmans; died in Rock Valley at 6:30 p.m. April 14, 1931; principal cause of death, not known; contributory cause, “had had valvular regurgitation for long time.”

FindaGrave.com has Antje “Annie” De Vries Reinalda; born 1862 in the Netherlands; died 1931; buried in Richland Cemetery, Inwood, Lyon County; spouse Riemer Reinalda (1862-1930); children Peter Reinalda (1888-1976), Anna Reinalda Mederna (1890-1966), Klaas Reinalda (1892-1980), Gertie Reinalda Vander Weide (1894-1981), Jennie Reinalda Willemsen (1896-1997), and Clara Reinalda Postma (1901-1987).

The 1930 U.S. census shows her as Annie Reinalda, a widow, age 67, living alone, immigrated in 1920, not naturalized, not able to speak English.
