Edward M. Rielly, 78, of San Jose, California formerly of Rock Valley died July 17 following a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at 10 A.M. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Patrick J. Nooney officiating.
Walter McNamera, Joe Gacke, Robert Buckley, Hein Kosters, Claire Barry, and Paul Deumers were pallbearers. The burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.
Walter, the son of Thomas and Catherine (Shevelan) Rielly, was born, June 21, 1894 in Rock Valley and moved to California 52 years ago.
His survivors are brother, William Rielly of Rock Valley, sister, Sister Mara of Dubuque.
