Funeral services for August Reyelts of Sioux Falls, South Dakota were held Monday, November 6, ay the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Hull, with the Reverend Allison Hansen officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery.

Mr. August Reyelts was born August 9, 1885, at Cadenberge, Germany. He came to the United States in 1910 and lived near Hull, where he was employed at the Henry Tiedemann farm for 2 ½ years.

He moved to Pipestone County Minnesota. On June 27, 1915, he married Frieda Funck and to this union were born three children: William C. of Hull, Esther, Mrs. Ewald Goeringer of Hull, and Mildred, Mrs. Alfred Winter of Mesa, Arizona.

The family moved to a farm northeast of Hull in 1932 and in 1944, Mr. and Mrs. Reyelts retired to Rock Rapids. Mr. Reyelts was preceded in death by his wife in September 1958, also two great-grandchildren, his parents, two sisters, and one brother.

Survivors besides the children include 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two brothers and one sister in Germany.

Mr. Reyelts passed away November 3 in a Sioux Falls Hospital. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
