Mrs. Joseph Reim,97, of Granville, died Saturday in the nursing wing of the Sheldon Community Hospital of a long illness.

Services were at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Granville. The Reverend Edward Hoffman officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery with Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen in charge.

Mrs. Reim, the former Anna Huebner, was born November 11, 1879 in Julianthiel, Austria. She came to the United States at age 27 and resided in the Granville area since. Anna married Joseph Reim on January 7, 1908 in Granville, Iowa. Her husband died April 14, 1952.

She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include a son, Charles J. of Garfield, New Jersey; three daughters, Mrs. S.R. (Mary) Sipma of Sioux City, Mrs. Paul (Elizabeth) Hurd of Sheldon and Mrs. Ray (Gertrude) Budden of Granville; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
