JOHN QUINN, FORMER RESIDENT, PASSED AWAY LAST FRIDAY

John Quinn, a former well-known resident of Rock Valley vicinity, passed away at the home of his son, J.J. Quinn, in Sioux Falls last Friday. Mr. Quinn, who was seventy four years old, was one of the pioneer residents of this vicinity.

He lived on a farm between Rock Valley and Hull for a number of years. He retired from the farm about fifteen years ago and moved to Le Mars where he lived for several years. For the past four months he had been making his home with his son in Sioux Falls.

He leaves his son, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held in Sioux Falls Monday and the remains were brought to St. Mary’s Cemetery southeast of Rock Valley for burial.
