Mrs. John (Georgia Viola) Peck, 84, of Hawarden died Saturday in a hospital in Hawarden.

Services were at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday in the Associated Church in Hawarden. The Reverend Fredrish Mellberg officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. A prayer service was at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday in the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Peck, the former Georgia Viola Bauerly, was born March 23, 1901, in Plymouth County near Le Mars. She married John A. Peck May 12, 1919, in Union County, South Dakota, near Hawarden. They lives in Union County until 1931 when they moved to Burke, South Dakota. They returned to Hawarden in 1951. He died September 6, 1982.

Mrs. Peck was a member of the Associated Church.

Survivors include two sons, Alvin L. of Gregory, South Dakota and Norman J. of Hawarden; one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Janetta) Freeman of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two brothers, Dewaine of Chadwick, Illinois, and Arthur of San Francisco, California; two sisters, Mildred Singer of Le Mars and Mary Morey of Alta; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
