Died: 1965The Mrs. Kate Orton funeral was held in Sioux City Friday. Miss Carrie Orton attended from here.
Burial was in the Ireton Cemetery and lunch was served the relatives at the home of Mrs. Anna Muilenburg.
Kate Schalekamp was married to Martin W. Orton. They resided in South Sioux City, where he had operated a grocery store two years. Mr. and Mrs. Orton celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Her husband passed away 1931.
She is survived by four sons, Cecil, Robert and Larry, and Kenneth; and a daughter, Eileen.
