Henry Atwood Died Here, December 15 Funeral Services Wednesday at 2:30 Death claimed Henry Atwood, pioneer- LeMars resident, at his home, 601 Plymouth Street, N. W. on Sunday, December 15, following an illness of 1 year and 8 months.

Mr. Atwood was born at Rockton, Illinois, on November 29. 1862, and was 84 years and 16 days of age at the time of his death. He was married at Rockton, Illinois, on January 8, 1885, to Bernice Jacobs and they lived on a farm two miles west of LeMars for a period of 19 years. He has been resident of LeMars for the past 33 years.

Deceased is survived by one son, Elmer Atwood of LeMars, one daughter, Mrs, Leslie Smith of DeWitt, Iowa, one brother, Patten Atwood of Canton, South Dakota, and three grandsons, Earl Bogen, Robert and Glenn Atwood, all of LeMars. He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter. Effie Atwood Bogen.

Funeral services will be held at Mauer's Funeral Home on Wednesday- afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in the city cemetery,
