Funeral services for Elmer M. Olson, 74, of Sioux City were held Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church at Sioux City. The Reverend Paul Wiener officiated and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery.

Mr. Olson was born August 31, 1893, in Sioux City. He was a lifelong resident of Sioux City. He married Johanna Vanderstop at Sioux Center June 4, 1929. Before retiring in 1959 he had been a salesman.

The widow, Johanna, is the only survivor.
